WILTON — After producing the 2011 critically acclaimed film, “TRIAL BY FIRE: Lives Re-Forged,” Megan Smith-Harris found that people struggled with the heavy subject of burn survivors.
So she decided to follow her husband’s advice for her next film.
“My husband came up to me and said, ‘We have to have a little talk. I love your heart, I love that you want to make films that change the world but can you choose a subject that’s a little accessible?’”
‘“Something with kids and puppies.’”
